Around the NFC East: Week 6

The Washington Commanders fell to 4-2 with their 30-23 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. Jayden Daniels was really good once again throwing for 369 yards with two touchdowns. Both touchdowns went to Terry McLaurin from inside the 10-yard line. McLaurin ended the day with six catches. The Commanders could not get anything going on the ground with Brian Robinson, Jr. out. They managed just 52 yards on 18 carries. The Commanders play the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

Coming off of their bye week, the Philadelphia Eagles got a 20-16 win over the Cleveland Browns. Jalen Hurts threw for 264 yards with two touchdowns. A.J. Brown returned after missing two games with a hamstring injury and caught six passes for 116 yards and a touchdown. It was a pretty quiet day for Saquon Barkley who ran for just 47 yards and caught two passes for seven yards. The Eagles’ defense sacked Deshaun Watson five times on the afternoon. The Eagles take on the New York Giants on the road in week seven.

It was a Sunday the Dallas Cowboys would like to forget when they lost at home 47-9 to the Detroit Lions. CeeDee Lamb was about the only member of the Cowboys that had a good game. He had seven catches for 89 yards. Dak Prescott had a particularly rough day throwing for just 179 yards and two interceptions. He was replaced late when the game got out of hand by Cooper Rush who also threw an interception. The Cowboys have their bye week in week seven.

Daniel Jones threw for 205 yards and an interception. With Malik Nabers still sidelined with a concussion, Darius Slayton led the Giants with six catches for 57 yards.
