Around the NFC East: Week 4

Jayden Daniels led the Washington Commanders to a 42-14 win over the Arizona Cardinals in week four. Daniels threw for 233 yards with one touchdown and one interception. He added 47 yards on the ground. Brian Robinson Jr. also had 101 yards rushing and a touchdown. The Commanders’ defense held Kyler Murray to just 142 yards passing and sacked him four times. The Commanders host the Cleveland Browns in week five.

The Dallas Cowboys held off the New York Giants 20-15 on Thursday Night Football in week four. Dak Prescott threw for 221 yards and two touchdowns. Both CeeDee Lamb and Jake Ferguson hauled in seven catches on the night. Lamb turned his seven catches into 98 yards and a touchdown. The Giants were unable to score a touchdown in this game. Their kicker, Greg Joseph was a perfect five for five on the night, but it was not enough. Daniel Jones threw for 281 yards and an interception. Malik Nabers was fantastic once again catching 12 passes for 115 yards but had to leave the game late after suffering a concussion. The Cowboys play the Steelers on Sunday Night Football this week. The Giants travel to Seattle to take on the Seahawks.

Playing without both A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, the Philadelphia Eagles suffered their second loss of the season 33-16 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Eagles managed just 227 yards of total offense on the day. Jalen Hurts had a rushing touchdown, but only managed 20 yards on the ground and 158 yards through the air. Saquon Barkley went over 100 all-purpose yards for the fourth straight game in the loss. The Eagles will focus on getting healthy during their week five bye.
