Around the NFC East: Week 15
It was a tenth straight win for the Philadelphia Eagles 27-13 over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown apparently mended their friendship this week. Brown had eight catches for 110 yards and a touchdown. Hurts threw for 290 yards and two touchdowns in the win. The first place Eagles take on the second place Commanders in Washington next week.
The Washington Commanders escaped with a 20-19 win over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. Jayden Daniels threw for 226 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for 66 yards. Terry McLaurin caught both touchdowns and had seven catches for 73 yards in the win. The Commanders defense held the Saints under 300 yards of total offense on the day.
Cooper Rush threw three touchdowns as the Dallas Cowboys beat the Carolina Panthers 30-14. CeeDee Lamb was his favorite target hauling in nine catches for 116 yards and a touchdown. Rico Dowdle had a huge game with 149 yards rushing on 25 carries. The Cowboys host the Buccaneers on Sunday Night Football in week 16.
The New York Giants lost their ninth straight game 35-14 to the Baltimore Ravens. The lone bright spot for the Giants this season has been rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers. He had another big day here catching ten passes for 82 yards and a touchdown. The Giants travel to Atlanta to take on the Falcons on Sunday.
