Around the NFC East: Week 10
It’s full-on panic mode for the Dallas Cowboys who lost 34-6 to the Philadelphia Eagles. Cooper Rush started at quarterback for the injured Dak Prescott and went 13 of 23 for 45 yards before being replaced by Trey Lance. It did not go much better for Lance who completed four of his six attempts for 21 yards and an interception. CeeDee Lamb did catch six passes but they went for just 21 yards. For the Eagles, Jalen Hurts accounted for four total touchdowns, two passing and two rushing, in the win. A.J. Brown caught five passes for 109 yards. Dallas Goedert caught a touchdown in his return to the lineup. The Cowboys take on the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football this week. The Eagles play the Washington Commanders on Thursday Night Football.
Speaking of the Commanders, they fell 28-27 to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. Jayden Daniels threw for 202 yards. Terry McLaurin continued his excellent season with five catches for 113 yards. Austin Ekeler rushed for just 44 yards but did find the end zone twice in the loss. Washington also got a rushing touchdown from Jeremy McNichols.
The New York Giants dropped their fifth straight in Germany 20-17 to the Carolina Panthers. Daniel Jones struggled once again throwing for 190 yards and two interceptions. Rookie Tyrone Tracy Jr. rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown in the loss. The Giants have their bye in week 11.
