Around the AFC West: Week 6
The Los Angeles Chargers improved to 3-2 on Sunday with their 23-16 win over the Denver Broncos. Justin Herbert threw for 237 yards and a touchdown. Herbert spread the ball around to nine different pass catchers in the win. J.K. Dobbins led the Chargers backfield with 25 carries for 96 yards and a touchdown. For the Broncos, Bo Nix threw for 216 yards and ran for 61. Nix tried to lead a late comeback with Denver scoring 16 points when they were down 23-0 heading into the fourth quarter. The Chargers travel to Arizona to take on the Cardinals in week seven. The Broncos play the New Orleans Saints on Thursday Night Football this week.
Aidan O’Connell drew the start for the Las Vegas Raiders in their 32-13 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. O’Connell finished the day with 227 yards with one touchdown and one interception. With Davante Adams still sidelined with an injury, Brock Bowers led the way receiving for the Raiders. The standout rookie tight end had nine catches for 71 yards. Las Vegas turned the ball over three times in the contest. The Raiders take on the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.
The Kansas City Chiefs had their bye in week six and will play the San Francisco 49ers in week seven.
