Around the AFC West: Week 15

The Kansas City Chiefs improved to 13-1 with their 21-7 win over the Cleveland Browns, but all eyes this week will be on the health of Patrick Mahomes who injured his ankle in the win. The x-rays came back negative. Mahomes appears on track to start for the Chiefs when they take on the Houston Texans in week 16.

It was a fourth straight win for the Denver Broncos 31-13 over the Indianapolis Colts. It was an up-and-down game for rookie quarterback Bo Nix who threw for 180 yards with three touchdowns and three interceptions. Nix also led the team in rushing with 23 yards. The Broncos will play the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday Night Football this week.

Speaking of the Chargers, they lost their second straight 40-17 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Justin Herbert threw for 195 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. The run game continued to struggle after the loss of J.K. Dobbins. They rushed for just 32 yards in the loss.

Ridder threw for 208 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. He also led the team in rushing with 28 yards. Brock Bowers who appeared to have a case for offensive rookie of the year a couple of weeks ago was held to just three catches for 35 yards.
