Around the AFC West: Week 12

The Seattle Seahawks moved into first place in a hotly contested NFC West with their 16-6 win over the Arizona Cardinals. Jaxon Smith-Njigba is really establishing himself as a star over the last few weeks. He had six catches for 77 yards and a touchdown in this one. Geno Smith threw for 254 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Kenneth Walker accounted for 93 total yards in the win. For the Cardinals, it was a struggle offensively. Kyler Murray threw for 285 yards but did not throw a touchdown and did throw an interception. Arizona only managed 49 yards rushing in the loss. It was a big day for tight end Trey McBride who had 12 catches for 133 yards. The Seahawks play the New York Jets on Sunday while the Cardinals take on the Minnesota Vikings.

It was a tough night for the Los Angeles Rams who fell 37-20 to the Philadelphia Eagles. Matthew Stafford threw for 243 yards with two touchdowns. Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp combined for 17 catches for 177 yards and a touchdown. Kyren Williams rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown. The Rams travel to New Orleans to take on the Saints in week 13.

Brandon Allen filled in for the injured Brock Purdy but could not lead the San Francisco 49ers to a win. They lost 38-10 to the Green Bay Packers. Allen threw for 199 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Christian McCaffrey struggled to get anything going with just 68 total yards on 14 touches. The 49ers will play the Buffalo Bills this week.
