Around the AFC South: Week 6
The Houston Texans improved to 5-1 with their 41-21 win over the New England Patriots. Joe Mixon had a big day with 132 total yards and two touchdowns. C.J. Stroud threw for 192 yards with three touchdowns and one interception. With Nico Collins out, Stefon Diggs hauled in six catches for 77 yards and a touchdown. The Texans defense picked off rookie Drake Maye twice and sacked him four times. The Texans travel to Green Bay to take on the Packers in week seven.
Joe Flacco got the start for the Indianapolis Colts again in week 6 and led his team to a 20-17 win over the Tennessee Titans. Flacco threw for 189 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. Josh Downs had seven catches for 66 yards and a touchdown. Michael Pittman had just three catches for 35 yards but did have a touchdown. For the Titans, it was a struggle for Will Levis once again. He ended the day with 95 yards passing and a touchdown and an interception. Tony Pollard had 17 carries for 93 yards and a touchdown in the loss. DeAndre Hopkins had four catches for 54 yards. The Colts play the Dolphins on Sunday while the Titans play the Buffalo Bills.
The Jacksonville Jaguars lost 35-16 to the Chicago Bears in London on Sunday. The loss dropped the Jaguars to 1-5 on the season. Trevor Lawrence threw for 234 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. Travis Etienne Jr. was lost early in the game to an injury. Jacksonville was only able to manage 69 yards rushing without him in there. Evan Engram had a big game with 10 catches for 102 yards. The Jaguars play the New England Patriots in London on Sunday.
