Around the AFC South: Week 5

The Houston Texans improved to 4-1 with their 23-20 win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Texans kicker Kai Fairbairn hit a 59-yard field goal as time expired to give Houston the victory. C.J. Stroud threw for 331 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Stefon Diggs stepped up with six catches and 82 yards after Nico Collins had to leave the game with a hamstring injury. The Texans defense held Josh Allen to just 131 yards passing on the day. The Texans face the New England Patriots in week six.

The Jacksonville Jaguars got their first win of the season 37-34 over the Indianapolis Colts. Tank Bigsby led the Jaguars rushing attack with 101 yards and two touchdowns. Trevor Lawrence had his best game of the year throwing for 371 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. His favorite target was Brian Thomas Jr. who had five catches for 122 yards and a touchdown. For the Colts, Joe Flacco got the start for the injured Anthony Richardson. Flacco gutted the Jaguars defense for 359 yards and three touchdowns. Josh Downs had nine catches in the loss. The Jaguars host the Chicago Bears on Sunday while the Colts travel to Tennessee to take on the Titans.

The Titans had their bye in week five.
