Around the AFC South: Week 10
The Houston Texans picked off Jared Goff five times but it was not enough as they lost 26-23 to the Detroit Lions. Nico Collins cannot get back soon enough for the Texans struggling passing game. C.J. Stroud threw for 232 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. It was a big game for John Metchie III who had five catches for 74 yards and a touchdown. Houston plays the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football this week.
The Joe Flacco era came to an end, for now, when the Indianapolis Colts lost 30-20 to the Buffalo Bills. Flacco threw for 272 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions. Jonathan Taylor had a strong game on the ground rushing for 114 yards. Alec Pierce led the receivers with four catches for 81 yards and a touchdown. It was announced earlier this week that the Colts will be going back to Anthony Richardson at quarterback starting this week against the New York Jets.
Will Levis returned for the Tennessee Titans and threw for 175 yards with two touchdowns in a 27-17 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Levis was sacked seven times in the loss. Calvin Ridley continued his hot stretch with five catches for 84 yards and two touchdowns. The Titans host the Minnesota Vikings in week 11.
Mac Jones started for the Jacksonville Jaguars and it did not go great. He threw for just 111 yards and two interceptions in their 12-7 loss to the Vikings. Jones did score a rushing touchdown in the game. Evan Engram led all pass catchers with six catches for 40 yards. The Jaguars travel to Detroit to play the Lions on Sunday.
