Lamar Jackson threw five touchdowns on Monday Night Football and the Baltimore Ravens won 41-31 over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Derrick Henry also had a big night rushing for 169 yards and adding one catch for 13 yards and a touchdown. The combination of Jackson and Henry has been a nightmare for opposing defenses. Rashod Bateman led the Ravens pass catchers with four catches for 121 yards and a touchdown. The Ravens take on the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
Speaking of the Browns, the lost their fifth straight game 21-14 to the Cincinnati Bengals in week seven. The bigger news was they lost quarterback Deshaun Watson to an Achilles injury. They will likely turn to Jameis Winston for the rest of the season. He threw for 67 yards and a touchdown in this one. David Njoku had ten catches for 76 yards from the three different quarterbacks who played in this game for Cleveland. On the Bengals side, Joe Burrow threw for 181 yards and two touchdowns. Tee Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase combined for nine catches for 137 yards and a touchdown. The Bengals host the Philadelphia Eagles in week eight.
Russell Wilson got his first start for the Pittsburgh Steelers and led his team to 37-15 win over the New York Jets. Wilson threw for 264 yards and a touchdown. George Pickens had a big game with five catches for 111 yards and a touchdown. Najee Harris was able to ice the game away with a big fourth quarter on his way to a 102-yard performance. Pittsburgh’s defense picked off Aaron Rodgers twice on the night. The Steelers face off with the New York Giants on Monday Night Football this week.
