Around the AFC East: Week 7
The Buffalo Bills improved to 5-2 with a 34-10 win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Josh Allen threw for 323 yards and two touchdowns. Newly acquired wide receiver Amari Cooper had four catches for 66 yards and a touchdown. Rookie Keon Coleman also had a big day with four catches for 125 yards. The Buffalo defense sacked Mason Rudolph three times and forced him to turn the ball over two times. The Bills travel to Seattle to take on the Seahawks on Sunday.
Tua Tagovailoa cannot come back soon enough for the Miami Dolphins who lost 16-10 to the Indianapolis Colts. The Dolphins managed just 149 yards passing in the loss. Tyreek Hill had just one catch for eight yards. Third-year coach Mike McDaniel will need to start winning some games if he wants to keep his job for 2025. Miami did get a big game from tight end Jonnu Smith who had seven catches for 96 yards and a touchdown. The Dolphins host the Arizona Cardinals in week seven.
Davante Adams made his debut with the New York Jets in the 37-15 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Adams had three catches for 30 yards. Aaron Rodgers threw for 276 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions. Breece Hall had a big game for New York with 141 total yards and two touchdowns. The Jets play the New England Patriots next week.
Speaking of the Patriots, they lost 32-16 to the Jacksonville Jaguars in London on Sunday. Drake Maye played well in his second career start throwing for 276 yards and two touchdowns. His favorite target was tight end Hunter Henry who had eight catches for 96 yards. New England could get nothing going on the ground with just 38 yards rushing on the day.
