Around the AFC East: Week 4

The Buffalo Bills suffered their first loss of the season 35-10 to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football. It was a tough night for Josh Allen. He threw for 180 yards and ran for 21. The Bills’ defense was the real problem giving up 271 yards on the ground. Derrick Henry ripped off an 87-yard touchdown run on the Ravens first play from scrimmage and they never looked back. Buffalo will look to get back on track this week on the road against the Houston Texans.

In one of the ugliest games of the week, the New York Jets lost 10-9 at home to the Denver Broncos. The Jets failed to score an offensive touchdown in the game. Aaron Rodgers threw for 225 yards and was sacked five times. The chemistry between Rodgers and Garrett Wilson is still a work in progress. Wilson caught five passes for just 41 yards. Breece Hall was pretty much eliminated from this one by the Broncos. Hall had four yards rushing on ten carries. The Jets travel to London to take on the Minnesota Vikings in week five.

The New England Patriots dropped to 1-3 on the season when they lost 30-13 to the San Francisco 49ers. Jacoby Brissett was sacked six times. He threw for 168 yards with one touchdown and one interception. You have to wonder when the Patriots consider making the switch to Drake Maye. The Patriots take on the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.

Speaking of the Dolphins, things are pretty bad down in Miami. They lost 31-12 to the Tennessee Titans on Monday night. The Dolphins’ offense continues to struggle without Tua Tagovailoa. Miami went with Tyler Huntley in this one. He managed to throw for just 96 yards in the loss. Tyreek Hill was held to 23 yards on four catches though he was behind the defense a couple of times but Huntley missed him.
