Around the AFC East: Week 2

James Cook accounted for three touchdowns in the Buffalo Bills 31-10 win over the Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night Football. Cook finished the night with close to 100 all-purpose yards. It was a quiet night for Josh Allen who threw for just 139 yards. The story of the night, however, was Tua Tagovailoa sustaining another concussion. He was not having a good night before the injury, throwing for just 145 yards with a touchdown and three interceptions. It will be interesting to see when or even if Tua is back on the field. The Bills play the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday Night Football in week three. The Dolphins travel to Seattle to take on the Seahawks.

The New York Jets held on to beat the Tennessee Titans 24-17. Aaron Rodgers threw for 176 yards and two touchdowns. Both touchdown passes went to running backs. It was Braelon Allen who led the scoring from the running back position with both a rushing and receiving touchdown. The Jets take on the New England Patriots on Thursday Night Football this week.

Speaking of the Patriots, they fell 23-20 to the Seahawks in overtime. The Patriots rushed for 185 yards and score in the loss. Hunter Henry had his best day as a Patriot catching eight passes for 109 yards. The defense sacked Geno Smith three times but could not keep the Seattle offense out of field goal range after the offense went three and out to start overtime.
