Around the AFC East: Week 13
The Buffalo Bills clinched their AFC East title with their 35-10 win over the San Francisco 49ers. It was the seventh straight win for the Bills. Josh Allen threw for 148 yards and two touchdowns and added a rushing touchdown. James Cook carried the ball 14 times for 107 yards and a touchdown. The Buffalo defense held Brock Purdy to just 94 yards passing on the night. The Bills will have a much warmer game in week 14 when they play the Rams in Los Angeles.
Tua Tagovailoa threw for 365 yards and two touchdowns but it was not enough as the Miami Dolphins fell 30-17 to the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving night. Jonnu Smith continued his productive run with 10 catches for 113 yards. Tyreek Hill finally had a big game catching six passes for 83 yards and a touchdown. The Dolphins only managed 39 yards rushing on the night. The Dolphins host the New York Jets on Sunday.
Speaking of the Jets, they lost their third straight game 26-21 to the Seattle Seahawks. Aaron Rodgers threw for 185 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. Davante Adams led the receivers with five catches for 66 yards and a touchdown.
The New England Patriots also lost their third straight 25-24 to the Indianapolis Colts. Drake Maye played pretty well throwing for 238 yards with a touchdown and an interception. His favorite target was Hunter Henry who caught seven passes for 75 yards. Rhamondre Stevenson ran it 18 times gaining 73 yards on those carries. The Patriots have their bye in week 14.
