Around the AFC East: Week 12
The Miami Dolphins won their third in a row 34-15 over the New England Patriots. Tua Tagovailoa threw for 317 yards and four touchdowns. He has never lost to the Patriots. Jaylen Waddle had his biggest game of the season catching eight passes for 144 yards and a touchdown. Jonnu Smith has really emerged as a threat since Tua returned from injured reserve. Smith caught nine passes for 87 yards and a touchdown in the win. De’Von Achane had a quiet day yardage-wise but did have two receiving touchdowns. For the Patriots, Drake Maye threw for 222 yards with one touchdown and one interception. DeMario Douglas was his favorite target who caught five passes for 62 yards. The Dolphins play the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving night while the Patriots play the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.
The Buffalo Bills were on their bye in week 12 and play the San Francisco 49ers in week 13.
The New York Jets were also on their bye in week 12 and will host the Seattle Seahawks in week 13.
