AEW Wrestlers Line Up to Battle Hangman Adam Page
Hangman Adam Page keeps making enemies. That’s what happens when you burn down someone’s house.
Jeff Jarrett objected to Page’s heinous act against Swerve Strickland and challenged Hangman to a lumberjack strap match on last night’s AEW Collision.
Page survived the whipping from the wrestlers at ringside and pinned Jarrett after the “Deadeye” reverse piledriver.
Juice Robinson will be Page’s opponent this Wednesday on the Fifth Anniversary Dynamite, as the two men brawled after the lumberjack match.
PLAY BY MY RULES
Saraya opened the show against Jamie Hayter in a “Saraya’s Rules” match. That meant Saraya could use weapons and get help from Harley Cameron as well, but Hayter was not allowed to cheat.
Despite this stacked deck, Hayter won with the “Hayterade” lariat.
Chris Jericho moved into contention for the Ring Of Honor title as he teamed with Big Bill & Bryan Keith to beat Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy & Kyle O’Reilly.
Bill chokeslammed Briscoe, the ROH champion, through a table to set up the pin for Jericho.
Jack Perry beat 56-year-old Minoru Suzuki to retain the TNT title. Brody King beat Action Andretti in under two minutes.
Wheeler Yuta is still not on the same page as Claudio Castagnoli & PAC, but they retained the AEW trios title with a win over Private Party & Komander.
Hologram continued his unbeaten streak, winning a three-way Lucha Libre match over Dralistico and The Beast Mortos.
DYNAMITE PARTY
In addition to the Page-Juice match, the 5-Year Dynamite will include Will Ospreay defending the International title against Ricochet.
Dr. Britt Baker will appear in her hometown of Pittsburgh to battle Serena Deeb.
