Minutes after claiming he would never help Will Ospreay, Kenny Omega chose him as a partner against the Don Callis Family.

Omega opened last night’s Dynamite from Knoxville, Tenn., with a face-to-face confrontation with Ospreay.

The “Aerial Assassin” had stabbed Omega in the head with a screwdriver during their match at Forbidden Door last year. Omega still had a few hard feelings about that.

Omega rejected Ospreay’s idea to unite against AEW’s villains, but then Callis’s goons attacked them.

Somehow, the two heroes won a fight against four bad guys. They gave Lance Archer a suplex through a merchandise table and wiped out the others with dives off the balcony and lighting rig.

With their partnership solidified, Omega & Ospreay challenged Kyle Fletcher & Konosuke Takeshita to a match at Grand Slam Australia next month.

NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS

Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin wiped out Private Party to win the AEW World tag team championship.

The Hurt Syndicate members are both pushing 50, but nobody calls them old or WWE castoffs. The Syndicate is enjoying the success they should have had in WWE.

Jamie Hayter won her rematch with Julia Hart. Hayter said they were even, and she would be up for a rubber match.

Hart then appeared in a video with Buddy Matthews & Brody King. They are moving on without Malachi Black, so The House of Black is no more.

Swerve Strickland defeated AR Fox. After the match, Swerve rescued Prince Nana from the scissors-wielding Ricochet.

“Hangman” Adam Page squashed Tyler Shoop. Christopher Daniels came out in a neck brace and said that Hangman had sent him into retirement after their bloody Texas death match on Collision.

In the main event, “The Rated-R Superstar” Cope defeated Pac. The other Death Riders attacked Cope after the match.

Next week, Jeff Jarrett will wrestle Claudio Castagnoli on Dynamite. If Jarrett wins, he will get an AEW World title match against Jon Moxley.
