AEW Dynamite: Jon Moxley to Defend Title in Four-Way at World’s End
After hunting and attacking AEW’s heroes for months, Jon Moxley has found himself a marked man.
Jay White, Christian Cage, Orange Cassidy, and “Hangman” Adam Page are all gunning for Moxley’s AEW World championship.
Last night’s Dynamite episode opened with Moxley & Pac defeating Cassidy & White by disqualification when Hangman attacked Moxley.
After the bout, Moxley said he would defend the title against White, Page, and Cassidy at the World’s End pay-per-view on Dec. 28 in Orlando, Fla.
Remember, Christian has a “Money in the Bank”-style contract for a World title bout that he can cash in whenever he chooses.
ORIGINAL RECIPE
In the main event, Mariah May retained her AEW women’s title by defeating Mina Shirakawa.
Thunder Rosa was sitting the crowd holding up signs, so she seemed to be the next challenger … but wait!
Toni Storm is back! She’s no longer the “Timeless” old-time movie glamor queen. Storm is back to her original “rock chick” persona.
CONTINENTAL CLASSIC
Will Ospreay defeated Claudio Castagnoli in the Gold League of the Continental Classic. Both men are tied for first place with six points.
Ricochet joined them at the top of the Gold League table with a win over Brody King, who received surprising support from the crowd.
Adam Cole defeated Kyle O’Reilly to advance to a bout with MJF at World’s End. MJF’s Dynamite Diamond Ring will be at stake.
Top Flight’s friendship with Action Andretti & Lio Rush will be put to the test this Saturday on Collision when the teams battle for a shot at Private Party’s AEW tag team championship.
