AEW Dynamite: Jon Moxley and The Death Riders Battle Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin

Jon Moxley came out with the Death Riders to “take over the Superstation” last night on AEW Dynamite.

Old-school fans who used to watch wrestling on TBS expected Moxley to start the program at 8:05 or show an episode of “The Andy Griffith Show.”

Instead, Moxley talked with Orange Cassidy about their World title match at the Full Gear pay-per-view on Nov. 23.

As the Death Riders were walking away, Darby Allin dove out of the balcony and knocked them down like bowling pins.

Allin tried to stop the Death Riders from escaping in a truck, but Claudio Castagnoli swung Allin into a metal garage door. The bad guys (and girl, Marina Shafir) escaped.

WHO WILL FIGHT MJF?

Roderick Strong qualified to face MJF at Full Gear. He defeated Lance Archer in a Falls Count Anywhere match.

Adam Cole did not qualify for the MJF match. Konosuke Takeshita used MJF’s Dynamite Diamond Ring to knock out Cole for the victory.

So, it will be MJF vs. Strong at Full Gear, while Takeshita will defend the AEW International title against Ricochet. Maybe Cole will watch the show on TV.

Christian Cage teamed up with “Hangman” Adam Page in the opening match to defeat “Switchblade” Jay White & Juice Robinson. Page hit the Deadeye on Juice for the pin.

Will Ospreay called out Kyle Fletcher, and they discussed their past friendship and partnership in New Japan’s United Empire faction. They will wrestle each other at Full Gear, as Fletcher is trying to avoid being called an “Ospreay clone.”

THE DOCTOR IS IN

Dr. Britt Baker returned from injury to defeat Penelope Ford with the Lockjaw submission. No wonder people are afraid of the dentist!

Swerve Strickland defeated Lio Rush but got beaten down by The Hurt Syndicate after the match. Well, Swerve literally asked for it.

Malachi Black & Brody King defeated FTR in the main event to qualify for the tag team title match at Full Gear.

They will face The Outrunners, Private Party (the champions), and the winners of the Collision match between The Acclaimed and La Faccion Ingobernable.
