2025 NFL Draft: Best Fits For Top Quarterback Prospects

The 2025 NFL Draft is still months away but teams have already begun doing their homework on the top quarterback prospects in the draft.

While this might not look the most loaded class on paper, there will still be teams looking to improve the most important position in sports.

Below, check out potential landing spots for the top quarterbacks in the class.

Shedeur Sanders, Colorado

Best Fit: New York Giants

The Giants are 2-8 on the season and looking like they will contend for the top pick in next year’s draft. When watching the Giants offense for one drive, it is clear that the team needs a quarterback. The Daniel Jones experiment has completely blown up in the face of the franchise.

Can Shedeur Sanders be the savior? And will Deion Sanders be happy with New York? This could be a circus situation in the Big Apple but we have seen plenty of NFL-caliber plays from Sanders during his time with the Buffaloes. The Giants missed out on last year’s class and will now have to settle here.

Cam Ward, Miami

Best Fit: Las Vegas Raiders

There will be some quarterback-needy teams at the top of the draft but there is a chance that only two, maybe three, get selected. Ward is among that list. One of the Heisman hopefuls has been pegged as one of the top options.

Ward has plenty of experience starting games in college, both at Incarnate Word and Washington State before the Hurricanes. The competition might not be stiff but Ward has shown a dual-threat ability and can get the ball down the field. We know that the Raiders will be all in on one of these top quarterbacks.

Jalen Milroe, Alabama

Best Fits: Cleveland Browns

It only feels right that Milroe lands in Cleveland. He has become one of the most controversial draft prospects this year. Many believe he can be the first quarterback taken while others see an inability to throw the football. Milroe is a dynamic runner and this is a trait that translates well to the next level. If Milroe can become somewhat of a consistent passer, he might have a chance to succeed in the NFL.

Quinn Ewers, Texas

Best Fits: Los Angeles Rams

Ewers might have fallen out of the first round but he has great talent and will make for an intriguing prospect moving forward. Enter the Los Angeles Rams. This is a team that brought in Matthew Stafford and was able to turn it into a Super Bowl. Now, the idea of bringing in a young quarterback to sit behind Stafford could be on their mind. Ewers is the perfect fit to sit behind Stafford before getting his chance.

Carson Beck, Georgia

Best Fit: Tennessee Titans

The Titans might have bigger aspirations but Carson Beck was once a first-round talent. Why not take a chance? The Will Levis days are coming to an end and it is clear that Mason Rudolph is nothing but a backup. Beck has played his way out of the first round but can still be taken in two or three.
