2024 Fantasy Football Tight End Rankings: Where Is The Value In TEs?

Is there a new top dog at the tight end position?

Travis Kelce has been a fringe first-round pick for many years now because of his overall volume at the tight end position. The drop off was massive behind Kelce but that has gotten significantly smaller.

It begins with Sam LaPorta of the Detroit Lions. As a rookie, he established himself as one of the best at the position in the league — and his numbers backed it up. He finished with 86 catches for 889 yards and 10 touchdowns, which was tied for fourth in the league.

Who is a candidate to break out? That would be Evan Engram. He has found a new home in Jacksonville and has developed a real connection with Trevor Lawrence. Engram has emerged as a legitimate pass catcher. Kyle Pitts is also in the discussion to break out. He did not live up to immediate hype early in his career but with a change in coaching and Kirk Cousins under center, Pitts could be in for a big year.

Do not be afraid to draft George Kittle. The San Francisco 49ers remain one of the best offenses in the league and Kittle is a big part of it. Be hesitant with the likes of Cole Kmet and Pat Freiermuth.

Below, check out the full tight end rankings as the season creeps closer.
