10 Things I Hate About You: CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins Edition
CM Punk and Seth Rollins celebrated Festivus on last night’s Monday Night Raw with the “Airing of Grievances.”
Punk said that Rollins was entitled, asking Punk to train him for free when he was 16. Punk said he “shielded” Rollins from being fired, and that Punk did everything before the “second-string” Rollins did.
Rollins countered that he accomplished everything Punk did twice and better. Rollins added that he has main-evented WrestleMania, unlike Punk.
Sami Zayn interrupted Rollins to apologize for accusing him of attacking Jey Uso last week. The real culprit, Drew McIntyre, attacked Zayn to set up their match on this weekend’s episode of Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Speaking of airing grievances, McIntyre reveals that he attacked Uso and Zayn because they had rejoined Roman Reigns.
THREE-WAY SKIRMISH
Finn Balor and Gunther opened the show with a brawl. Damien Priest joined, and that turned out to be a great idea.
Raw General Manager Adam Pearce added Priest to the Balor-Gunther match for the World title on Saturday Night’s Main Event.
The Miz teamed up with Final Testament to win an eight-man tag team match against Wyatt Sicks. Karrion Kross pinned Uncle Howdy after the Final Prayer (F5) in the only men’s match on the show.
The New Day came to the ring and got booed out of the building for dumping Big E last week.
WOMEN’S ACTION
Lyra Valkyria defeated Ivy Nile and Zelina Vega in the women’s Intercontinental title tournament.
Liv Morgan defeated Dakota Kai in a non-title match. Morgan will defend the World women’s title against Iyo Sky on the Main Event.
In the main event, Rhea Ripley won a street fight against Raquel Rodriquez with a Riptide through a table.
